I have never been an athletic person. I have always been thin but never in shape. My diet has been comparable to that of a 12 year old. High in sugar (I ate Lucky Charms and Frosted Flakes for more than just breakfast), no vegetables, very little protein. Basically I just ate processed food. Working out was never a priority. A few months ago, I decided that I wanted to get on track and start a regular workout routine and change my diet but I knew I was going to need some help. I was very picky about who I chose as my trainer because going to the gym is very intimidating for me. A friend recommended Kameo. From the beginning, Kameo has been incredibly professional. One of my biggest concerns was that my trainer would judge me or make me feel stupid for not knowing how to do things or for asking stupid questions. I have never once felt stupid or embarrassed when working with her. I used to dread working out but now I really enjoy my sessions with Kameo. One of the best things about our workouts is that we never do the same workout. Every day is a mystery and for someone who gets bored easily I love that she mixes things up. She has also drastically improved my diet. She gave me recipes that were simple (I hate cooking) and delicious. I am so grateful that I was referred to her. Before starting Kameo's program I felt bloated all the time and I would also have stomach cramps often. Durning the first week I could feel my body detoxing from all the sugar and bad food that I have been eating for forever. After the first week I lost 4lbs which for me was huge since I tried exercising for a while and couldn't even lose 1lb by myself! I lost 1lb the second and third week and couldn't feel better! Once I got the hang of meal prepping it didn't feel so demanding. It gave me the jump start I needed to detox my bad eating habits and learn better ways to eat and prepare my food. Just did a 7 day clean eating challenge and LOVED it! The meals were great - tasty, inexpensive and easy to make. My 3 year old actually ate some of them! 'Nough said! Typically, I plateau right away and don't lose the first 2-3 wks of any challenge (even doing whole30) but I miraculously lost 3.8 lbs!! Unbelievable! Bye bye holiday ab cookie roll. Kameo is amazing. Just finished her 7 day New Year's challenge. The meals were fantastic and it got me back to prepping my food biweekly! My son even tried to trade his PB&J for my spaghetti squash!
